Great show – well done everyone!

Borders Youth Theatre has a reputation for high quality work and this year was no exception.

Great performances at three of the Border’s most beautiful Historic estates, Paxton House, Traquair and The Haining in Selkirk with Borders Youth Theatre revisiting 4 of the classic tales by Beatrix Potter, in A Tale of Beatrix Potter.

The talented company of 42 young theatre makers were directed by founder member of BYT and well know youth theatre director, John Haswell, who also wrote the play, ably assisted by home grown performer, director and drama leader Oli Bisset.

Rehearsals were held at Langlee Community Centre in Galashiels, and we were hugely grateful to the wonderful staff there who made us so welcome – a great place.
